Ayurveda Massage treats all kinds of Disease

In nature cure, diagnosis of disease is not important. It is believed that the cause of all diseases is the same, the accumulation of foreign matter in the body. In other systems of treatment the doctor tries to cure a disease, but in nature cure, it is not the disease itself but the entire body of the patient, which is cured and is renewed. So in Nature cure, a doctor may diagnosize fasting, food(is considered medicine in Ayurveda) regime, daily routines and certain exercises to a certain patient. One way of curing the patient is Ayurvedic massage. It is said that, if you recieve Ayurvedic massage(abhyanaga) twice a month, you will be healthy.

Massage

Massage improves our health and removes many illnessses. Among our natural needs massage is one of them, without which our health is not at our peak. Nature gives us the desire to massage all parts of our body. When a certain part of our body is hurt our hand automatically reaches that part of body and starts to gently massage that part, thus, decreasing its pain. This is an indication that Nature regards massage as a means to cure ailments.

The whole body massage is given with different types of oils, depending on the constitution of the body and mind. It is performed with a combination of strokes including kneading, tapping, rubbing, touching, shaking, moving and squeezing. Abhyanga massage is given prior to herbal steam bath. It is useful for general rejuvenation, fatigue, body aches and musculoskeletal problems as well as mental stress.

2. Yogic massage:

This massage is designed from yogic postures. It is an ancient massage which is still practiced in Nepal, to cure different bone orthopedic problems. This massage follows all the yogic posture and patient can feel like doing yoga during massage. Especially good for people who can not perform the yogic posture themselves and need assisstance from a professional. The practitioner needs to be certified to do this massage because this massage deals with joints and nerves as well.

3. Therapeutic massage:

This massage is focused on specific muscular needs, such as on the changes caused by pregnancy, length of ligaments, tendons and weight. The massage can include various techniques like circulatory work, acupressure, reflexology and others. This massage decreases neck, back and joint pain; relieves muscle spasms, cramps and soothes nerves. Special attention is paid to the body structure. Muscles that are chronically contracted can sometimes create areas of tension. Because the muscles are contracted, it is out of function. Fresh blood can not get in and the waste can not get out. This irritates the surrounding nerves, causing pain and tension. This therapy focuses on these tense areas to soften the muscle, restore normal circulation and flush the waste out.
